My world of Mac & Cheese.

I have been buying the Rich & Creamy Walmart brand Macaroni & Cheese and I have to say that this stuff is even better than plain Kraft Mac & Cheese(which is the only thing I used to buy) AND it's only 64 cents a box at regular price.

I found this same Rich & Creamy Mac & Cheese in the Smith's brand, but buyer's beware, the Smith's brand does not taste very good. However, Smith's has a Mac&Cheese in shells that is good.

One tip on getting a bang for your buck: Smith's runs their Mac & Cheese 3 for $1 every once in a while. When they do this, you can pick up the Walmart Rich & Creamy and Ad Match Smith's ad, or if you're like me, and don't like to support Walmart much, pick up Smith's Macaroni & Cheese in shells and you'll get tasty mac & cheese for a decent deal.

Meet the new member of the family!

Well, Last Friday was a horrible day, but we got through it (Thanks Jeanie for the card and M&M's, You're a DOLL!). Thursday night I carried Sundance up the stairs so he could sleep with us.

We were having a really hard time all weekend because he had been with us for so long, so EVERYTHING was reminding us of him.

We adopted a beautiful fawn Boxer from the Animal Shelter on Monday....he's EXACTLY what we wanted! His name is Copper.

He's submissive to other dogs and is so gentle with the kids. We are VERY happy with him and I'm especially happy that I don't have to train a puppy!

Happy 10th Anniversary!

It's been 10 years today! I can't believe it. I remember people telling me that our love would change when we were first married. I kept thinking that I loved our relationship the way it was, so I didn't want it to change. Well now it has changed, but it's a wonderful change. We've grown closer and learned how to communicate with each other. Now I'm more in love with this guy than ever before, which I didn't realize was possible.

Sweetheart, you are the love of my life and the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love you babe.

HOT!

The summer heat has really been getting to me the last couple of days. At least we're winding down and summer will be over before we know it. The days have been blurring together and it will be nice when we can go outside in the middle of the day again. I guess I'll just have turn on the hose get an ice cold lemonade for now.

Independence Day!

I'm one to be very patriotic. I am known to stand proudly and put my hand over my heart when the flag passes by or the National Anthem is played, being grateful for my FREEDOM. As this Independence Day approaches, I am still grateful for my many blessings and my many freedoms, but I've been contemplating. Is America really independent? It seems with oil on the rise and the American dollar's value decreasing, we are VERY dependant. It's really sad to see "The American Dream" slipping away for our future generations. I'm in no way trying to be depressing, I just feel like, we, as Americans should take action somehow. I'm all for drilling and producing our own oil to establish Independence, but am still uneasy at how this may affect our environment. There may be no answer and this is America's fate. Many have pushed to take God out of our country and maybe God is listening and saying, "Okay, I'll leave." One thing I KNOW for sure is that if I keep God in my life, I will ALWAYS be okay. This Independence Day I will take action. As I celebrate this holiday, I'll be paying my Tribute to God. I'll be thanking him for the MANY blessings he's given to America, our Country, our HOME. God Bless America!
